MFT: AllColors YouTube Channel

AllColors is a YouTube channel about colors. Its sole purpose to document webcolors on the platform because there are not enough things like that (obviously). And nothing else. Just colors. Whole lotta videos about specific webcolors. A little bit of this and a little bit of that. For your pleasure.

Every video runs for one minute. Each of them contains nothing but specific color. No sound (sometimes i think Ice-T's "Colors" will start at any moment but nah). Title of the video is comprised of webcode and informal title of the color. There is some fetish fun to it - LightGoldenRodYellow or GhostWhite or HoneyDew or just Red #1 (gaga? do you get it?).

You can build entire narratives out of one minute bits. For example - you can recontextualize particular bits. here's silent speedcore short film adaptation of Derek Jarman's Blue:

Or make your own playlists. For example: #1e90ff RGB(30, 144, 255) DodgerBlue #47 / #6495ed RGB(100, 149, 237) CornflowerBlue #24 / #f0f8ff RGB(240, 248, 255) AliceBlue #10 / #ffe4c4 RGB(255, 228, 196) Bisque #15 / #ffa07a RGB(255, 160, 122) LightSalmon #75 / #f8f8ff RGB(248, 248, 255) GhostWhite #53 / #f0ffff RGB(240, 255, 255) Azure #13

Aside from that - nothing much. Anyway - it is a delight for phosphenes. They can wreak havoc on it. If you watch it long enough - you can start seeing something. Some hidden stories straight out of your consciousness. But i don't think you will waste that much time on it.

AllColors can be considered conceptual art Martin Creed way. Which means - "art is what you make of it" and "whatever" or "..." or "take that". Or not. It is just another thing that you can find online, smile at it for a moment or so and move on to other things and then recall it at some point in the future and put it in some context for reason.

This whole thing reminded me of fake Kyle Kallgren YouTube Account from 2015. It is now deleted (not a big loss, TBH) but it was something very similar. It wasn't Brows Held High but for some reason it was constantly one-upping Kyle's real account in search results and garnered notoriety through its cryptic content. Like AllColors it was a series of videos with single color that lasted fifteen minutes and one second. And nothing else. It was silly. But then - why not? After all - there was a Twitterbot that was posting every conceivable word. Why there can't be something like that for colors?

Raise a weathered thumb. The blurred mesh and murmur will drift in the gregarious smoke.
